No, the cameras are not 4K. They are advertised as 1080p, but you cannot identify a person's face clearly unless the camera is up to about 10-15 feet from the camera. The Arlo (not pro) cameras are only 720p. The 1080p for the Pro 2s that I purchased is questionable. I have 6 cameras -- 3 outside. Inside the cameras are good enough for ID, but outside, the resolution is not good enough for ID since they had to be mounted on poles/trees and are 20+ feet from the covered field of view..
