• It depends on how you have them set-up. If the motion sensors are finely tuned to only look at a certain area, the cameras are not coming on over and over when your puppy walks around the floor. The 1 cord that came with it is for charging. If you want to run power to them to continuously run, you can get longer USB mini cords and use the appropriate charge cube.

• The batteries are rechargeable. Comes with 1 charging cord. It can record up to a few months depending on how often there is motion.
