How far will the motion sensor reach null

I live on second floor and it picks up motion pretty far depends on how much light the camera is also picking up too. Too much light might not pick up motion

I live on the second floor and it catches audio and motion pretty far. Also for the motion to pick up it depends if the camera is picking up a lot of light as well.
