Yes it will, also it will drain your battery quicker.

Yes. We get Alerts even when there is shadow movement due to sunlight. You can create activity zones so you get notification only if there is movement in that zone but you have to subscribe to Arlo smart for that. I feel it’s just a way to get you to keep paying and wish they included that as part of the product.

Generally... yes it will. You could try turning the detection sensitivity down but in my opinion that defeats the purpose. I have the same issue. Would have had a prime spot for one of the cameras were it not for the flag. Best of luck to you!
