“Can you connect this system to a DVR and watch and control it with a PC? Or is it only a cell phone based system? I am not really interested in storing my video on a cloud, I prefer to keep it local. Thanks. John”

Your recordings are in the cloud but you can watch them from your pc and download them to your computer or an external drive. You can use the Arlo app to view your videos on your phone or tablet. You can only be logged in to one device at a time.

There is talk of Arlo adding in support for external harddrives to the USB ports but that is purely conjecture at this time and I have found conflicting statements. May be a feature enhancement eventually.
