It depends on what subscription you have. Here is a link to Arlo's plan page: https://www.arlo.com/en-us/landing/arlosmart/default.aspx I bought the six camera Pro 2 1080 and added a camera. I subscribed to the Arlo Smart Premier Plan for $9.99/month and can have up to ten cameras. There is a free plan but I wanted the feature to call 911 right from the Arlo app so opted for the reasonable monthly rate. You can do a lot of customization with the six cameras so you might not even need to add cameras. I've got six cameras covering the entire exterior of a 4000 sf house. The seventh camera is outside my gate and monitors my driveway and the road in front of my property. The Arlo router is great. I used Best Buy's installation service, which was well worth the $150 fee.
