“I was told this camera has 2 detection zones. Furthest zone will detect motion by cars/ppl in st and can be set to not give alarm but will record the motion. 2nd zone from curb to the Arlo and this zone will give alarm & record. Anyone familiar with this?”

I purchased a single camera and a pack of 3, all are Pro 4's. They all work the same and there is one preset created by the manufacture. While I can manually set areas to detect, it will still record everything that it detects within it view. You can adjust the field of view to reduce and improve detection at 110*, 125* and 180*. I use 110* and have less alerts. Check out the numerous Youtube videos featuring Arlo for more pointers. I have found the informational. I hope this helps.
