I used a small phillips head and pushed very hard on the little silver hex screw that is located where the instructions say the remove push battery button is. I found it helpful to push the camera into the housing slightly, that relieved some of the pressure on the screw / release button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The document referenced by the Arlo Team shows a different version of the Arlo camera (maybe the Pro 3?). Their document shows a white large button, whereas these Pro 4 w/spotlight sold by Best Buy have a smaller metal button. I had to use a phillips head screwdriver to provide enough force to push on it to release the camera from the housing so that i can insert the battery. But 1 of the 3 that I got, i still cannot open. The amount of force required is quite high, so i'm not sure if i'm doing it correct.
