• The arlo pro 4 has no SD card everything is streamed through the arlo app or online. It only detects motion and sound. The arlo app notifies you if it’s a vehicle, person, or animal. That way you don’t see long footage of nothing and only captures important things and sounds.

• The Arlo Pro 4 does not have the option for local storage. For local storage, an Arlo Smart Hub is required.
