The Arlo Pro 4 camera can be directly connected to your router's 2.4GHz network and be able to manage it to the same Arlo account where your Arlo Pro 2 system is connected to. Also, this camera can be connected to Arlo base station with model numbers VMB5000, VMB4540, VMB4000, and VMB4500. Please check the model number printed on the back or bottom panel of your Arlo base station to verify if they are compatible. ^RM
