Well, yes, but it is going to record video of the person doing it. A burglar stole one of my cameras a couple weeks ago, and the video showed his face. The police had positive evidence and arrested him the next day. :-)

If the cameras you have outside can be reached then yes they can be pull down from the magnetic mount.

You would need to purchase more if you have more than 1 camera that is a accessible while unattended. The screw mount is very sturdy so I think this would be a good solution for you!
