• Maybe not. I am using one of my cameras that way and alternating the camera which needs to be charged.

• No, it will work and may unlock additional features depending on your camera model and Arlo service tier. Just make sure that the area you want to place the camera is within reach of an outlet otherwise you will need to run an extension cord to be able to provide power.
