QuestionI only want to record when I access it in order to preserve battery. Is this an option. I am recording a pregnant horse and they move all the time so I find that battery dies quickly. I only want to have the camera record when I log in to see her.

- Answer Yes as it's not wifi-based. You plug the Arlo hub in to your router via ethernet, and the cameras all talk to it; not over your wifi

- Answer Charge will last around a month. I installed in the living room (lots of movement), and the battery charge dropped from 100% to 80% in 7 days.

- Answer I can see all 4 screens on my phone. But to see in real time you have to push button on each camera. Only one at a time can play. And, recordings are done with motion sensor or you push to record.
