“I am not very techno savvy, do these work with DSL internet wifi? How far can the cameras be from the base and still work? If used for outdoors, the description indicates in temps as low as 14degrees, what happens if temps go below this?”

It will work with DSL but you’ll need a wireless router or wireless modem. They are rated to -4 degrees. The batteries won’t last as long and the unit could stop working below that temp. I think 300 feet, but the further from the router the more power it will consume.
