I had these cameras mounted 10 feet in the air and they were picking up cars across the parking lot a good 60 to 70 feet away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.clear all the way to street about 20 feet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one of my cameras set up on a post about 12 feet off the ground pointing to the back wall of my property. The camera picks up any cars and trucks that pass on the street behind my house about 40 feet away from the camera. I ended up having to turn off motion detection because of the amount of cars that it kept picking up. It also picked up people walking on the sidewalk in back of the property. The pictures during the day are very good, very sharp. At night, they have the night vision look. but you can still make out many details of the person's face.

As for the motion detection that is probably pushing this too far. Vehicles will probably trigger it but I doubt a person would.
