• The Ultra 2 does need a smarthub or base station to operate. However, once paired to a base station all devices can be managed through the Arlo app.

• Arlo Ultra 2 camera requires an Arlo SmartHub/base station for it to work. There are few Arlo cameras that can connect directly to wifi, you may take a look at Arlo Pro 3, Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight and the Arlo Essential series. ^RM
