Yes. The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight detects sound.

Hi Matt,
All audio is picked up by this camera - that is set up as a factory standard.
I’m pretty sure that there is an option to turn off the audio, but I leave it on for my camera.
You can even talk to people through the camera audio - though that might be hard to do depending on where your camera is located.
My camera is adjacent to a sidewalk, so when people walk by they can be heard talking on the audio ... nothing specific because they are walking away from the camera.
However people who are walking towards the camera, their audio is picked up and conversations are heard clearly.
