• An Arlo SmartHub or base station is optional. You can connect your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera to a VMB5000 or VMB4540 SmartHub or to a VMB4500 or VMB4000 base station. You can place the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the SmartHub or base station. The maximum line-of-sight range of 300 feet is reduced by each wall, ceiling, or other major obstruction between the camera and base station.
