Both consoles come with HDMI 2.1, I have both, so this will work for Series X. Just like PlayStation, you can only hit 120Hz at 1080/1440, 4K will only allow 60Hz to pass through given the adapter is only a 2.0 pass through.

So, unfortunately, it won't work with your Xbox Series X. But, to have your Astro's working with your Xbox Series X, all you need is to do a firmware update on them vie our Astro Command Center. The Astro Command Center is an app for your computer. There, you'll be able to update the firmware on your headsets (A40 TR Mixamp or Astro A50), change any EQ settings, and also the sensitivity of your microphone. I'll attach a link to download the Astro Command Center. It'll be located below the C40 controller configuration app. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Have a great day. https://www.astrogaming.com/en-us/support/software.html
