“Hello, Somebody know if I will need this adapter if I'm going to use the Astro A40 on my PS5?”

• Hello JMoya15. The HDMI adapter adds an optical output to the PS5. This is needed for the A50's and the MixAmp. If you are not using a MixAmp, you can just plug your A40's into the PS5 controller like you would any other headset.

• You will need this adapter theres youtube videos on how to set it up. If you have the Astro a40 TR it will use 2 out of 3 of your USB slots.

• You definitely will, get it and you won't be disappointed.. you'll need it to input the fiberoptic cable from the mix-amp because the PS5 doesn't contain a fiber optic input.
