I'm not 100% sure I fully understand what you're trying to do your webcam, but the Astro Gaming HDMI Adapter for PS5 is designed to provide next-gen console users with an optical port that's not present on the consoles now, allowing them to get dual channel audio and mixing for MixAmp modules. The HDMI port is just a passthrough, from the console to the adapter, and from the adapter to the TV.

• Let me rephrase my question. Can I use this item to connect a webcam to a monitor or a pc via hdmi? Webcam output (USB) to the USB input port. And exiting via hdmi output to the hdmi input of my computer. In other words, can I use it to convert a USB video source (webcam) input to a hdmi output?
