• Depends what you mean by this. If you plan to use it on a PC than you would need to get a different version that comes with a USB or you can by a audio splitter since the cable it comes with would only allow you to do 1 or the other (hear/speak) If you plan to plug it into your phone or another device, than yes it works fine and you are able to hear and speak through this headset, I do it sometimes with my iPhone.

• Yes, I have an iPhone X, the first thing I did to test the sound quality was use the dongle ( extra piece that allows 3 mm connection to newer iPhones ). Try it out!! You will not be disappointed!
