• The only difference is the "CHAT". If you do like me, and hook it to your TV Optical, and use a switch box to have it work with all systems, Roku, etc.. then for Audio it works fine. If you want to do in game chat, that is where you would have to go with one base or the other, for Xbox or PS4. I do understand they are doing an update so it will work with Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

• Firmware. It tells the headset what type of bandwidth and device it is. Also they are on different frequencies as well.
