Absolutely. I have one from 3 years ago I got on a Best Buy deal and am using it to type this reply. Mine uses Windows 8.1 and I rarely use my desktop since getting this. It works great for this internet , which is my main use. Boots in like 12 seconds. Have had zero issues with it in 3 years.
