Do a "hard reset". Hold down the "esc" key (top-left corner of keyboard) and then push the power button (on the right side of the laptop) one time. The same thing happened to me. I had it in tablet mode (which looks and acts like an Android smartphone). But when I flipped the screen around for laptop mode, the screen stayed in tablet mode. The keyboard and touch pad would not work. But the touch screen did still work. So I Google searched and found the above answer.
