A:AnswerThe term pertains to the Intel Core i7-8565U, it means, it has the higher-end part of the 8th Generation Intel Core U-series mainstream laptop processor lineup. The only big difference is that the i7-8565U has a considerably higher maximal clock speed frequency (TurboBoost) of 4.6 GHz instead of 4 GHz.
A:AnswerJust wanted to add an update to my question, It also does it when opening but not as much. Is this normal? It sounds like snapping or something, It doesn't really do the noise when im closing/opening on my lap, but when on a flatter surface such as a table or even on top of my bed ( I tried to test how flat the surface has to be for it to make the noise, it only does it on a completely solid surface such as my table, and it makes the noise as soon as the screen stops touching the table as that's the way this model keeps the screen supported, but as soon as the laptop's screen bottom isn't touching the table and im shutting the screen it makes 1 or 2 cracking/snapping noises on what seems like the sound is coming from the right side.
Is this apart of a known issue or would this be deemed a serious problem? The sound just started today after using the laptop for 3 weeks no problems.
A:AnswerI checked the space between the keyboard and the screen and there are NO cables exposed. I would return it to the Best Buy Geek Squad and have them look at it. If they cannot fix it, they should replace it. Good luck.
A:AnswerThis model includes an integrated UMA GPU. UMA generally stands for unified memory architecture. It indirectly refers to the fact that integrated graphics card uses the system RAM because it does not have any of its own integrated RAM.
