Honestly, it's a bit stronger than some, but not so much that it's overly difficult. However, if you expect this to have the same build quality as a "one-finger open" MacBook, you aren't spending enough money for that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The newly-improved hinge designed, which is more durable and sturdier, will make opening the lid difficult, at first. It should loosen up once the lid started to open/close.
