I would return it immediately and would buy 24" on 1920x1080. 27" are not made to work as we expect them to work on 1920x1080. 2560x1440 are way to go for 27 -29 " displays. $500-600 range.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be certain that you have your screen set to the "native resolution." It is only on the resolution that the monitor was designed that you will have clear text. Out of the box, I find the optimal settings are not default, it may depend on the source you are connected to. See that the video card has the correct drivers to display at the optimal resolution also. I have had to download new video card drivers to meet those requirements. The system may not know what resolution you need (if it isn't a standard resolution) until the monitor is connected, yet you still have to download the latest drivers to take advantage of this. Changing the monitor will not yield better results if this is the problem. Check with the manufacturer, Dell, on their website for these drivers.
