Yes, the WIFI extender will extend the wireless range of the ASUS RT-AX92U router for a camera.

Yes it will. But you might consider getting a tri-band extender so the backhaul signal to the router can go on the third band (6 GHz IIRC) and won’t be competing with other devices using 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
