“I am considering running this display on a PC that supports a resolution of up to 1920x1200. Will this "work" until I have a modern PC? I realize it may not be perfect resolution but if set to at or under 1920x1200 will I have a useable image?”

As far as I know, you shouldn't have an issue. I just messed with the settings trying to answer your question and couldn't produce an image that wasn't usable. You mentioned getting a more modern pc soon... when you do, you will absolutely love this monitor. I have 6 of them.

Yes, you can adjust the resolution in Windows to a lower than native resolution for the panel. This display would support 1920 x 1200.

Yes, you can use it at lower resolution (1920 X 1080). Right-click and choose display settings from your main screen and then choose Display resolution.
