I study graphic design and was looking for a good monitor that would fit my budget. It is very good and when printing I have not had any problems with the colors. I feel that it is an excellent option for those of us who are new to design and want to start investing in specialized equipment.

This monitor is great for those who wants to have a color accurate creative workflow on a budget. The ProArt tag stands for itself and displays gorgeous colors. This could be the best budget monitor for photo or video editing. Gamers please excuse the refresh rate of 75Hz, there is something else for cheaper for you but for those who involve in both worlds, should be buying this. Highly recommend.

[Employee of bestbuy] The Asus ProArt 27in WQHD monitor is everything I expected from an arts focused color accurate monitor. I use this mainly for my photography outside of work and it holds up well. The specs on website incorrectly state that this is a 100MILLION to 1 contrast ratio which is impossible on this LCD based monitor. It's just a standard 1000:1 edge lit monitor. Dark scenes during movies are not great, but they aren't horrible either. Bright colorful screen looks beautiful as expected on this monitor. Overall, a great screen for photographers, but not so much for movie enthusiasts or gamers.

Love this monitor, i loved it so much i bought a second one for my other desk. what can i say, its big, its bright, the colors are crisp and its resolutions are plenty high enough for the size. I also like the stand, it goes up and down and side to side,

This is an excellent monitor. The color calibration testing report for my unit, which accompanied the monitor in the box, shows an average Delta-E across the range tested of 0.30, much better than the Delta-E<2 criterion for color accuracy given by the manufacturer, with every tested value below 1.0. Good range of adjustability, and easy on the eyes. The only fault I can see is the lack of USB-C connectivity (Some have complained about the speakers; I have never used them as I have better speakers on my desktop). This monitor is doing everything I need it to do, and doing it well.

I am happy with the build and picture quality of this monitor. As other's said buy it for the picture not for the sound and you will not be disappointed. It came well packed and fast. Setup is easy, I have it in a two monitor setup with my desktop I primarily use for photo editing. There are no dead pixels, calibration was great (according to my Spyder5Pro). Colors are great for this price point. I can't judge gaming as I am not using it for that.

Purchased this monitor to use as a primary monitor for my 2012 Mac Mini Quad Core i7 with 16GB of RAM. I use this one along with an ASUS VG245H monitor. This monitor is connected via the mini-display port (V 1.1). I initially had used the 1.2 version of the display port and the monitor would suddenly click off without warning. I realized that the mini may not be able to keep up with the more advanced setting of the 1.2 version for the display port and once I switched, I haven't had any issues since. Overall, this is a very capable monitor with great features that you can use to customize it to suit your requirements. I use this in the 2560 x 1440 HD resolution and whatever I am viewing is always very sharp with outstanding color. This is a very bright monitor, which I wanted, but is adjustable as well. The monitor only has a 5ms response time but I don't play games so I wasn't concerned by this response time. I also use the versa mount for both monitors and they look great together. I would have purchased two of these had the price been lower, but decided to get the smaller VG245 to complement this one and I am very pleased with the performance of both. Also, I wasn't sure the 2012 Mini would support two monitors like the ProArt. I really like the fact that the monitor has multiple connectivity (display port, mini-display port, HDMI) as well as 4 USB 3.0 ports as I usually have multiple disks and accessories connected at any one time. Another reason I chose the ASUS monitors was because they come with a 3-year warranty. If you are looking to upgrade your monitor without breaking the bank, this is a good choice. While I run an older desktop computer, this monitor will be around when I eventually upgrade my 2012 desktop. I do have a MacBook Air (M-1) and I can connect it to this or the other monitor without worrying that the monitor will not be able to keep up with the laptop. I definitely would recommend this monitor to anyone.

Nice Monitor, slow starting up on a Mac Mini with multiple (3) monitors. Don’t get me wrong, the display is outstanding, it’s just that, after waking up from sleep or locked, the Display takes about 10 seconds to wake up to the login screen. It’s a minor grumble, but without it, this would be a 5 star review

With my deteriorating vision issues, this monitor makes it possible for me to use my laptop with ease. The display is clear and crisp and has several adjustments you can make to fit your needs. I highly recommend this!

If you don't need or can't afford a 4K monitor this is an excellent alternative. It has great color accuracy, and the stand is sturdy and adjustable. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Works very well with a 2019 MacBook Pro. It's great for photo editing. I really like the native 2560 by 1440 display. The colors are great, and it's a perfect size for editing two documents side by side.

I found the Asus Pro Art 27” monitor to be a great value for editing video and photographic work. I found the color accuracy out of the box to be noteworthy and the ability to edit projects both horizontally and vertically a to be a big plus. I am not a gamer and cannot comment on the Pro Art’s performance as a gaming monitor. I am quite pleased with my purchase and find the 27” model offers great performance for the price.

This monitor lives up to everything the vendor says for it. I’m extremely happy and will be buying an additional monitor as well. The colors are great, Settings are easy to manipulate and I love the ASUS quality and build.

Great monitor. My favorite thing about this product is its great build and adjustment capabilities. Little bit of IPS glow, but nothing to noticeable.

It’s a good monitor for the price. You really can’t beat it. I like the swivel capability although I’ll probably never use it. I’m using the monitor primarily for music production and DJing. The clarity is crisp and clear for my needs, but if you’re someone who is into photography or video you may want something more. But if you’re on a budget it’s really a great monitor for the price.

I went from a 28" 4K VA 60Hz panel to this - a 27" 1440p IPS 75Hz panel. While I've only had it about a week so far, I love this panel. If you're a "prosumer" hobbyist designer/photographer and you play PC games here and there, I feel that this panel beautifully blurs the lines and allows you to have the best of both worlds. The color accuracy is amazing in both worlds (gaming and design) and the 75Hz refresh is a great addition to the panel to entice you to enjoy a few games here and there. So far, I've gone back and color corrected a few of my more recent photos and played Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Valhalla and, at the moment, I have zero complaints. My only wish was that it had 10-bit color, but this is a lower model in the product stack and I knew it was 8-bit-only when I purchased it - so I don't fault the product for that. For the price and what you're getting, I give it a thumbs up.

The ASUS ProArt series of computers, monitors and laptops are generally the value leaders in field of creative computing professional equipment. The 24” and 27” monitors have excellent color rendition, a solid and adjustable stand and excellent connectivity options. They are not “state of the art” but are more than adequate and priced like a generic business monitor. I have a ProArt PA90 desktop computer that I bought the monitor for and was impressed enough that I will be buying a second 27” for my Mac Pro.
