All aluminum chassis (top, bottom and keyboard palm rest). The screen is glossy with glass covering. Overall build quality is above average in my opinion. The aluminum feels fairly lightweight so dents might be a possibility if the laptop is dropped or bumped. Keyboard is good. Trackpad feels a little cheap and is not as smooth as other laptops I have used.

Battery life has been very good. The laptop has a 56whr battery I believe. I am averaging 6-7 hours of use doing light tasks like web surfing and downloading things.
