“Is an idle CPU temperature of 40 C and gaming temperature of 90 C normal? It seems to be very high and I've heard it could damage the CPU.”

• Yes, for a Gaming laptop those temperatures are very normal.

• I would not think it’s normal, I would try and put your computer on a different surface area like wood or go into your settings and turn your fans up a little
