“The picture of this laptop shows it has a Blu-Ray Drive, not just a regular old Double Layer DVD-Rom Drive. Yet, when I look at the specs, it mentions nothing about it having a Blu-Ray drive, but only a regular DVD-Rom drive. What is going on?”

I own this model and it definitely doesn't have a blu-ray drive. There are upgraded versions of this model, however, and I'm pretty sure the picture is of the upgraded version. It's like, you never see base model cars in advertising. They want you to see what you're missing out on and decide to upgrade.
