Does this model come with an M.2 slot? Since I see on ASUS's website that this laptop has option to come with an additional M.2 SSD so I would like to know if this model, even though it does not come with an SSD installed, has the M.2 slot null

This is a relatively new product and yes, this laptop is upgradable for an M.2 SSD as well as for up to 16 gb of ram. Asus will release the upgraded models that have 4k displays, 16 gb or ram, and ssd storage

Yes it does.

The M.2 is PCIE and supports NVME. It is NOT M.2 SATA!
