• yes i had them connected to a RT-AC86U in line worked great

• As part of the same mesh network, I don’t think so but would defer to Asus to confirm. As an additional router or mesh network, I would assume so since it’s the same setup as this; main GT6 into lan port of ISP router but instead your AX3000 router plugging into open lan port on this router to get internet connectivity.
