Your speed is only as good as your internet provider plan and device allows. I have a 500mbps plan from xfinity and with this new router I get ~485mbps on my samsung note 10+ phone which is wifi 6 compatible, I get ~518mbps on my samsung galaxy tab s6 tablet, I get ~38mbps on a 5 year old HP laptop, I get ~32mbps on a 10 year old Sony laptop, plus I have a eharmony wifi remote system, a wireless Phillips Hue light system, a Ring security system, and 4 smart TVs connected to the network. I like the way this router automatically assigns the best frequency for the device. I haven't any problems with lagging using this router. Long story short, this router will definitely give you the maximum speed potential for your devices. It also has a lot of other bells and whistles for a gaming or non-gaming network. I plan on having it for several years to come and grow into the new wifi 6 network features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ASUS GT AX11000 is a big improvement over my last router. Have you considered Cox? I have coax gigablast It's also an improvement over ATT. But the AX routers are WIFI 6 upgrades.I don't know what you have, but if you have an AC router, you might see a big improvement with an AX router. And you can get cheaper ones that don't cost nearly as much as the AX11000.
