• Yes. In the Bios select “enable NVME boot” save and exit bios, re-enter the bios, then select the drive you wish to boot from in the boot drive menu.

• Hey! I’m not exactly sure if this will help you but I bought this and a Ryzen 3800X and Didn't have any issues of needed a separate cpu to update it.
