The liquid metal issue should be fixed on the more recent production models! Check your serial number to verify when it was made! As for your second question, no clue. I’d check on Asus’s website!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had this laptop for a few weeks, no hardware issues so far. Presumably, the liquid metal problem has been solved by now. The screen specs: IPS, 2560x1440 (16:9), 100% DCI-P3 color gamut (wider than sRGB), 165 Hz max refresh, 3 ms response, FreeSync Premium, 280 nits brightness. In Windows, refresh rates of 60 and 165 are the only available options by default, but the screen can handle custom values if you need something like 90 or 120 Hz.
