• You can hook up an Xbox to this monitor, but it will have black bars on the sides making it a 16:9 monitor. Considering that Xbox one doesn't support anything higher than 1080p and a 16:9 ratio I do not recommend this monitor.

• Yes, a bit overkill for a console being they struggle to put out 60FPS. This is for high end gaming PCs. If just hooking up to an Xbox, get something cheaper.
