- Answer Looking at all of the Zephyrus M16 specs on the Asus website it states the 4090, 4080 and 4070 having a mini-LED display. No OLED.

- Answer Only the 4080 and 4090 models in the US have the AniMatrix. Can confirm that this has 1x 16gb installed. Makes upgrading to 32gb a bit cheaper.

- Answer The resolution for this laptop is 2560x1600 making it a 16:10 aspect ratio. If the model has WQXGA then it's a QHD+.

QuestionWould there be any issue or diminishing returns adding a 32GB stick to bring the total to 48GB instead of matching the 16GB for 32GB? I don't understand the duel/quad memory, but would prefer the higher RAM for editing and casual gaming. Thank you!

- Answer When I had the 2021 G15 Zephyrus model it came with 8 GB of memory soldered to the motherboard and I added 32 GB of RAM in the only open DIMM slot. Never had any issues. There is a performance benefit to dual channel, but I don't think it will be a deal breaker. I will say with 4800 MHz DDR 5 cost coming down I was able to buy 2 x 32 GB for around $174.00 on Amazon.

QuestionI want to connect my external monitor that uses a display port connection. If I'm understanding correctly, I'll need to get a usb c to displayport adapter, correct? The external monitor is the Samsung odyssey g7 so 1440@240hz.

- Answer This laptop does have usb-c connection you can use for display, but it also has an HDMI connection as well. The only thing it does not have is an Ethernet port. So, if you want to connect to a cable, versus wireless only, you will need to purchase an external dock. I have a WAVLINK WL-UMD502.

QuestionAccording to the pictures, the laptop doesn't seem to have a display port (correct me if I'm wrong). I want to connect this laptop to a 240hz monitor, but i cant seem to find an adapter that supports 240hz. Is there a solution for this?

QuestionHow affected is the battery life from the bump in resolution compared to the RTX 4060 FHD model? As a student, i was wondering if this laptop could last at least 5-6 hours on light-medium workloads

- Answer It all depends on what software you plan to use. I play a couple games on it and it can last about 3 hours with maxed out settings on a game. If I use fl studio which is what it's normally for I get about 5 if im lucky. But you should be able to get more if you tune your battery settings right. I use max brightness also which doesn't help.

QuestionHow is the sound levelS and quality? Can the led lights on keyboard display independently different colors? How durable is the ac port on mother board?(last Asus ac port went bad on me in less than 1 yr)

- Answer The audio level is decent and uses Dolby ATMOS immersive sound technology. No, the keyboard backlit is only 1-Zone, different color cannot be setup. All ASUS products are built to last, the AC port is durable.

QuestionFor 2022 model, usb-c charging powder was delivered to the battery. In this way, the battery cycled between 99%-100% and battery health deceased very fast. For this 2023 model, will the usb-c direct charge the motherboard, or still charge the battery?

- Answer The USB-C power delivery is still the same on both models, it will charge the battery with the laptop shutdown. However, the laptop will not run through USB-C if the battery was completely drained.
