No extra fees, 5g works on a different frequency from 2g. This speeded up my internet download An ATT tech recommended that I go to 5g
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you will not have to pay a fee if you use this router. But you will have to configure your Gateway that ATT provides to use this router. What speeds do you have with att? Be warned thou if you try to use the dmz+ on the att gateway it does not work properly, it is a known issue. There is a way to bypass the att gateway, its called the dumb switch method, its a bit tricky to get it to work but it works great, once you set it up.
