To use the router to acccess internet services, this needs to be connected to an ISP's modem.

This is a router only, so it needs to be connected to a modem from your internet provider (e.g. Spectrum) or a modem compatible with your provider. Once set up this modem provides stable connections on 2.4, 5, and 6ghz bands. I use all 3 of these plus I have 2 other routers connected to it as a mesh system.
