You can add satellites to this router but the 8 it is talking about is the included antennas. This only inlcudes the router pictured.

The router can handle up to 8 satellites(?) but satellites must be purchased separately. I have this as the main router and 2 ASUS AX routers that I already own set up as satellites in the AI Mesh system.

There are NO REMOTE SATELLITES. BEFORE you leave to go and pick it up CONFIRM that the store has it on hand. I have had issues with BB and their supply chain
