• This board does not support USB BIOS Flashback. This board will need BIOS 2607 or newer to support that CPU. ASUS can flash the BIOS for you, and AMD also has a loaner CPU program available. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100

• Mine did with a 5800x with no issues. All current ones have the latest flash. Not sure about a used older one. Mine was brand new from BB about a month ago and no issues. Nick

• Mine came with a bios high enough to handle the 5000s, but you may not be as lucky. Roll the dice, I think things are in your favor, but buying a cheap older ryzen as a back up won't hurt either. You then can use that to flash your bios to a version that will support it.
