• For the default voltages and clocks yes. ive used this board on the 3900x and it doesnt overclock well.

• It will definitely be enough. It has 14 VRMs, which is honestly overkill. I wouldn't say don't get a better board with a 500$ plus cpu, but there also is no need to. This board is a stellar value for a high performance, top tier board.
