Being that it was working for a year - and suddenly stopped - I would surmise that the driver has been either removed or corrupted. The simple remedy for this is to re-install the driver. You should be able to download the driver from the Install Disk (which initially came with the Adapter) - if you are unable to locate the disk - you may be able to download it from the OEM website.
