• Yes, as long as you have a usb port free, though you should have a high speed usb 2 or 3

• Yes! I currently use it for a PC I recently built myself. The PC has a motherboard without its own wifi and this product was a very simple solution. I just had to set it up on a PC that already has wifi capabilities, then move the USB to the PC without WiFi capabilities. Just follow the instructions, it's easy.
