No, it's a usb transmitter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most cellphones use a micro-USB or USB-C type adapter. This adapter is a USB-A adapter that plugs into most computers, gaming consoles, etc.. It is possible to plug it into a phone using an adapter or connector that bridges the different types of USB plug. But in most cases, that may not be practical as all nearly all cell phones have Bluetooth technology built in. And this is just a BT adapter, it has no external storage or other functions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ASUS bluetooth adapter is meant for a PC or a laptop computer that does not have bluetooth. If you plug in the USB bluetooth adapter into a USB port on a PC or laptop, then go to Start and open up "Bluetooth & other devices," all nearby discoverable bluetooth devices will show up on your computer screen. For example, my work desktop computer did not have bluetooth capability. I plugged in the ASUS bluetooth adapter into a USB port on my desktop computer and now it has bluetooth capability. I am now able to connect my Bose wireless earbuds to my desktop computer. I can now use my wireless earbuds for speaker and microphone for a conference call.
