• There's no way for it to work on the PS5. The console doesn't detect it without the headset being connected, and the adapter can't connect on its own.

• PS 5 uses Bluetooth already. If you have a wireless headset and microphone non Sony, or know somebody who does, then pair it the same way. I'd look up the formats that the PS5 uses and the ones your airpods use and see if they share a compatible BT format.
